Our Restaurant Chef Owner
My name is Gerti Memeti, the chef owner of Mia Bella Restaurant in Cleveland's Little Italy.
I grew up on the shores of the Adriatic Sea in Albania across from Italy.
Like most people in the Adriatic area, I traveled across the area from my home Albania through Croatia, Slovenia and Italy.
I stayed in Italy and studied to become a chef and did by apprenticeship there while learning from great chefs.
My home is now Northern Ohio like so many people from Italy, Slovenia, Croatia and Albania.
All of the countries share the Adriatic Sea, which is part of the Mediterranean Sea.
The foods throughout the area are similar yet with their own interpretations.
Mia Bella's main focus is on Italy, however we are presenting foods from all of the countries.
You will see the presentation on our menu.
We will continually change them to create a unique dining experience for our guests.
